Arka is awesome!
I got my wife's engagement ring there and we went back for our wedding bands. All of the pieces were exactly what we wanted. Vatche is very helpful and personable. When you are shopping for rings it's so important to find someone you are comfortable with and a jewler/designer who can get you exactly what you are looking for.... that's Vatche.

I highly recommend going to Arka Designs if you're looking for engagement rings or wedding bands. My husband got my engagement ring here and after the proposal, he couldn't say enough good things about Arka and Vito who owns the shop. I had to get my ring resized and when I met Vito I understood what he was talking about. I found him to be very genuine, which is rare for anyone who is selling you a product. I ended up changing the band on my engagement ring and I really liked that he educated me on diamonds and took the time to show me various styles and options. It made making a selection quite easy. And the added bonus was that his prices were fair so I didn't find the need to try to haggle at all. Of course we came back to Arka for our wedding bands and the experience was just as great as the last visit.
So overall, if you are going to buy a ring, I highly recommend getting it from Vito. Your trip will be pleasant and you will always associate your ring with it.

We bought our wedding bands from Arka recently and are extremely happy with both the rings and the experience. I really shopped around and found their emphasis on quality and design to be the factor that sealed the deal for us. Vito really took the time to understand our questions and steered us in the right direction. So customer service ended up being another reason Arka will be our jeweler for life.

When it comes to engagement rings Vito is the man. I did my shopping and checked around at the other top rated places downtown that I found on yelp and Vito was on my list. He told me go shop around and come back when I'm done, he was sure he could do better. He was right! Plus the craftsmanship is perfect. I'm not into jewelry but I wanted something that is going to be as beautiful as my fiance is since its going on her hand for life God willing. I hate shopping and ring shopping stressed me out like crazy. I would decide on one diamond and change my mind by the time I got home. Vito was patient with me and we finally found the perfect diamond. (My advice shop for the diamond first, make sure you can inspect it before its in a setting so you know what your getting, I would only buy EGL or GIA certified diamonds but that's just me) Vito put it in a tiffany solitaire setting and man it was beautiful! She loved it. She keeps telling me how pretty her ring is and it even passed the friend with the magnifier test (yeah guys women do that) so thanks Vito for helping put a big smile on my girls face!

after a month of searching for the perfect engagement ring..i spoke to vito.. over the telephone..and felt sooo comfortable..my fiance and i drove 1 hour to meet with him.
he was extremely patient as he helped us design the ring of my dreams!

Vito is the only jeweler you will ever need to know. I bought my wife's engagement ring there a few years ago, and since then I have bought several additional pieces. His prices are great, he does not pressure you at all, and the quality of the workmanship is superb. Vito is also a great guy - he is very patient and walks you throug the process step by step. All in all, he provides a fantastic experience.

Vito has to be one of the genuinely nicest guys I've ever met. He made sure my fiancé and I were completely happy with the ring we purchased from him. I know he did an amazing job by the way my fiancé couldn't stop looking at her ring when we left the store. He's very knowledgeable, caring, and puts a lot of effort into each customer that walks through his door. After about a month of shopping everywhere, as far as price and quality, I found that Arka designs was the way to go. When my Fiancées brother took me to Vito, I knew nothing about rings. Vito sat us down and started by figuring out what type of band I wanted. After finding one close to what I wanted(3 stone) and making a few minor modifications to it, we started the hunt for the diamond. Vito walked me through everything as far as classifications of diamonds go. He helped me compare them to each other and find anything I didn't like about the diamond. He let us stay in there for almost 3 hours looking through diamonds and comparing all its qualities. He even switched diamonds around and tested me on them to make sure that I was understanding the difference and gonna make a choice i wouldn't regret. I ended up getting both the ring and diamond from Vito and I am very, very pleased. Vito Is not only an amazing jeweler, but a great host. I would recommended anyone to go to Vito, especially if you don't know what your doing or you are looking for a quality product that you will be satisfied with.

LOOK NO FURTHER!! Vito is not a salesman. He's a "creator"! I was so overwhelmed by the hi pressure of the jewelry mart, I finally gave up and headed to the Biltmore Hotel to relax and relieve my anxiety. On the way I saw the signs for Arka and reluctantly gave it a shot. Within one half hour Vito helped me design a beautiful addition to my engagement ring. It's gorgeous, classy, high quality and reasonably priced. I adore him too! I'm sending everyone I know!

Arka Designs is amazing. Vito is so friendly and personable; he was by far the best person my husband and I consulted with for my wedding band. My husband (then fiancé) had already bought my engagement ring at the Jewelry Exchange in Tustin (DO NOT GO THERE) and although they told my husband that they had a band to match my engagement ring, when we went there they were rude and simply told us there was nothing they could do for us. We were referred to Vito and Arka Designs by my sister and brother in-law and were immediately relieved. Vito was affordable and friendly, and believe me, we shopped around a lot! He designed a wedding band that PERFECTLY matched my existing engagement ring, and then upgraded my engagement ring at a wonderful price. He even helped me replace a missing diamond in my mother's wedding band and was so very friendly, quick and efficient about everything. I would definitely refer him to anyone looking for any piece of jewelry, but especially for something as important as a wedding ring. I will definitely be there again

Arka Design is amazing. I was referred to Vito (Vatche) at Arka Design by a friend to purchase an engagement ring for my girlfriend. We had looked and talked to many different jewelers around the city, and honestly many of them left us with a bad vibe when we left the stores. We ended up at Arka Design and it was a very pleasant experience. Vito was extremely patient and so understanding. We had a basic ideal of the ring and he helped us with the setting and picking out the right diamond. He made sure that everything was done correctly to the last detail.
I ended up purchasing a beautiful engagement ring from Vito that my fiancée loves. It was of superior quality and price to anything considered at other jewelers. He was very flexible with scheduling appointment and was always on time. I felt bad because we were always late for appointments. He has years of experience, and he is open on Saturdays. After a lengthy search for a ring, both at local jewelers and online, I finally discovered a ring that I knew my girlfriend would love. Unfortunately for me, or so I thought, the jeweler was on the other side of the country. However, I decided to contact Arka Designs about the ring I saw on their website. I spoke with Vito, and had several questions for him. Vito took the time to answer each of my questions, and suggested that I go with a less expensive variant (white gold rather than platinum) based on the information that I had given him. He explained the pros and cons of each choice, and I took his advice.
After speaking with Vito, I ordered the ring. He provided an estimated delivery date and promised to let me know when the ring shipped. On the day that the ring was supposed to ship, Vito called to let me know that there was a problem with the ring -- it was approximately 1/4 to 1/2 size bigger than I had ordered. Since the ring was an eternity ring, there was no easy fix for this. Instead of shipping the ring as it was and hoping it would be ok, Vito said that he was having another one made. After only a few more days, the new ring was completed and sent to my house.
When I gave the ring to my girlfriend, she was thrilled. It's a beautiful ring, and is something that she is proud to show off.
After my experience with Arka Designs, I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. Every part of the process, from my first contact with Vito, to the quality control, to the ring itself, was excellent. I am extremely happy with everything, and would gladly recommend them to anybody

I was shopping for my own 1yr anniversary gift...2ct diamond stud earrings. I searched Yelp for some help in finding the best jeweler with the best prices. Lo and behold I found Vito at Arka Designs. I called on him with a limited budget, limited time...and very high expectations. He called me back the same day with several stones he hand selected for me and I made an appointment for the very next day.
When my husband and I arrived at his store we were so relieved that it was NOT in the dreadful diamond district, rather a very professional law office building. That alone, sets Vito apart from all the rest. He has a specialized, sincere approach and sat with us for over 2 hours until we finally had the PERFECT pair at the PERFECT price for us.
We will never go anywhere else for our jewelry purchases. I am referring all of my family and friends, and you will too. Vito, you are the BEST!!!!

Vatche has been a great person to work with, and has been consistently honest when it comes to pricing and quality. If you are looking for a Jewler, Arka Designs is the place.
I love the fact that Vatche treats you like a customer and listens to your needs, and is not worried about making the most money off a person. In our current day and age it is tough to find someone who actually cares about their clients, and is interested in building a relationship with them for the long term.

I recently got engaged and my experience here was awesome. I had a friend in the diamond/jewelry industry before and he referred me to Vito. I was researching rings online and was just confused with all the different aspects of a diamond ring.
